The two
key elements with any type of vacuum system is CFM (cubic
feet per minute) and Static Pressure (water lift), the type
and volume of debris are both factors in balancing the two
elements.
Through extensive research and field testing of the Gutter
Keeper, we believe we have achieved the proper balance to
effectively clean rain gutters. The Gutter Keeper produces
2000 CFM of air flow and 25" of static pressure when
using 3" tubing for gutter cleaning; and 4" tubing
for ground debris collection.
History
The Gutter
Keeper came into being when it became obvious that a safe,
non- damaging method to clean rain gutters was sorely lacking
in the market place. This discovery came about in 1995 when
Upkeeper CEO Mr. Paul McIntyre, using the Voyager Turbo®
and overhead cleaning extensions decided to test the product
on his gutters at home.
Having
seen how well it worked, the potential for the machine was
apparent. Mr. McIntyre and the design team assessed the project,
and after several years of extensive research and field testing,
the Gutter Keeper unit was created.
The design
was completed in 2004 and several units were produced for
field testing in the US-NC market. As is the case with all
Upkeeper products, the Gutter Keeper has evolved through the
years into what we believe is the best solution to an age
old problem.
The UK Market
Now in 2007 Ionic Systems have introduced the Gutter Keeper to the UK market.
Many
window cleaners already clean facias, soffits and gutter exteriors. With
this machine you will be able to complete the service by cleaning the
insides of the gutters as well, all from the safety of the ground!
